Riverside Lodge

We are situated in Sharnbrook village, rural north Bedfordshire along the banks of the river Great Ouse.

The area is gently hilly, with many areas of natural beauty and criss-crossed by bridleways and footpaths, ideal for walkers and riders. Many of these walks can be combined with pub lunches and/or dinners.

Check out this website for an interactive list of great walks on our doorstep: https://footpathmap.co.uk/map/

We are a 15 minute drive from Bedford train station, from which trains to London take around 35 minutes, and trains to Luton Airport around 20 minutes. Luton Airport is approximately one hour by car.

There are plenty of attractions locally within a 45 minute drive, including the towns of Bedford and Northampton, Santa Pod, Althorp House, Woburn Safari Park, Cottesbrooke Hall, Rushton Triangular Lodge, Shuttleworth Collection, Silverstone Circuit, Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum, to mention just a few. We have provided an interactive Google Map on this page - including many places of interest.

Feel free to ask us for ideas of places to visit, we are more than happy to help!
